My Favorite Restaurant in the World
DESCRIPTION: I love going to Alan Wong's. While a bit pricey, the food is incredible and the wine list is excellent. I highly recommend the Chef's Menu -- they come up with a great variety of menu items and non-menu items. I've been lucky enough to visit Alan Wong's 6 times over the last few years, and each time was as good or better than the time before, even though I didn't think it possible. I've also taken my children, who were both just under 10 at the time. The entire family had a great time, and the staff treated us very well with or without the children. Order anything with seared Ahi! My favorite items on the tasting menu: grilled cheese and seared Ahi sandwich, Ahi wonton (it looked like a huge spider), and chilled two-color tomato soup. (I had to fight my children for the soup!)

Don't Waste Your Time, Unless You're Drinking
DESCRIPTION: The food here is lousy but the drinks are fine. The bar is a local favorite amoung the twenty-somethings on Christmas Eve.

Food Is Good and They Stay Open Late
DESCRIPTION: This place has food that's OK and they are open when others are closed. It's not the best place, but when you don't want to drive to Brookline or Boston, they're there for you. I recommend takeout. WARNING: The restrooms will turn your stomach.

Kudos for Chef Sau
DESCRIPTION: This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever eaten in. Located a bit out of the way, but worth it. It is very small but the food is excellent and the people are wonderful.

Unimpressed
DESCRIPTION: Three of us went there on a Saturday night, and while there was certainly nothing wrong with our food, we were all expecting something a little bit better from this price class. I had the grilled seafood platter; I forget what the sauce was supposed to be, but it was a creamy orange goo, somewhat tangy, that didn't really enhance the seafood that much. The mahi-mahi and scallops were nice, the prawns and salmon were ordinary. The sauteed spinach in the middle was an odd counterpoint. My dinner companions commented that the menu was a lot smaller than the one they'd been to in San Francisco. Everyone liked my Mai Tai, though ;-)

AMAZING!!!!!!
DESCRIPTION: I just went there towards the end of the summer 2003. It was amazing ... I felt like I was in The Keys. The Tiki bar in the back part of the outside seating area was so cool!! The drinks we had were out of this world. Attention to detail is what really won me over ... the food, the colors, the way the food was served, the look and feel of the place ... everything was amazing ... if you go to Jamestown and don't stop in, you really missed a good time!!!!

Casual summer dining at it's best
DESCRIPTION: Delightful for lunch on the patio, great for meeting friends for a drink at the tiki bar, or quiet dining indoors. I'll keep going back. Don't forget to visit the upstairs bar!

Great food
DESCRIPTION: Visiting from New York and had lunch on Sunday. My wife had the Tropical shrimp pasta and I had the Mahi-Mahi sandwich. The pasta was very tasty and had a lot of fresh pineapple, mango and coconut. My Mahi-Mahi was seasoned with Cajun spices and the sweet potato fries were very crispy and not greasy at all.

DESCRIPTION: We've been to Tricia's twice, and it is like being in the Keys! The decor is bright and colorful, the food is extraordinary, the service was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to go back, which may be in the next 24 hours!!!

JUST WONDERFUL!
DESCRIPTION: My family had my 40th birthday party here and it was just perfect! We started out upstairs in the room across from the bar. We all lounged around and had drinks and appetizers there first. The waitstaff was just wonderful to us. We later had dinner downstairs in the bar area and dined on almost every entree you can have full or half portions and was just delicious. My family and I have been back many many times. We have never had anything negative to say..... Thanks for making my 40th just perfect!

Outstanding!!
DESCRIPTION: The food is absolutely amazing. We sat upstairs on the patio with a view of the water and bridge. Service was great. We originally sat downstairs and when we asked about sitting upstairs they were very accommodating. Atmospher was great but the food was really the hightlight. Wow!

Magical Experience
DESCRIPTION: We actually had our wedding reception there in July 2005. The food was outstanding, the service and attention to detail was amazing. We rented out the whole upstairs and our guests were able to mingle in a comfortable yet exotic atmosphere. Our guests still comment that it was the best wedding they had ever been to and how incredible the food was. We've been back several times since and the food was fantastic every time.

Vague Retro-Tiki Ambience
DESCRIPTION: Vague retro-Tiki ambience :| with drink prices circa 1989. :) Good shrimp toast - get the Bali Hai baskets, they're like pupu platters on crack. We'll rent the front stoop where all the townies smoke butts. They should serve in the parking lot. We could pitch a tent out there maybe.

Varietal Wine Book
DESCRIPTION: I was taken to Island Way Grill for my birthday dinner on 20th of July '02; so the following review is as of this date. I found the ambiance quite a pleasant mixture of space, glass and stonework. Tables are not crowded together as in most area restaurants, but efficiently spaced. Cleanliness was superior. Food quality and service was good, though I felt a bit rushed after dessert. Note the "Bait Bar"...yes, sushi chefs. Early specials are around $10 with salad, and house dessert is included. The 1-1/4 pound "steamed" lobster plate weighs in at $36. An optional "Bamboo" (surf-n-turf) can run $42 a plate. One surprise - the most nicely appointed restrooms I've seen in the area; but wheelchairs could have (very minor) door negotiation problems. Normally, I would only rate a facility as "partially accessable" unless there are electric doors, but this may be an exception. Second full bar outside, overlooks the docks.

DESCRIPTION: Food: I had stuffed Mahi Mahi and my boyfriend ordered red snapper but they were out of it so he switched to salmon. We also had sashimi tuna and oysters, fresh and yuammy. The flavor was very delicious, texture perfect, presentation ok. It arrived hot from the kitchen. Very fresh. The portions were very big. Service was good waiter helpful. Could answer questions about the menu. He make good recommendations. plates cleared away quickly. no trouble attracting our waiter's attention. Relaxed and beautiful. Ambiance amazing, the restaurant clean, a distinctive style and theme, waterfront , bathrooms clean and beautiful! To compare to other similar restaurants, I was pleasantly surprised will definitly come back!I felt we got a good deal for the price. recommend it to a friend for some special occasion : romantic dinner ...also a good place to go with a group. recommend making reservations!!!
